Thaw … Suddenly, among the winter landscape, among the snow-covered streets and freezing tree trunks, dark thawed patches appear and thin streams, gaining speed, flow down the street. Snow escapes from the roofs, tapping on the windowsill in drops, and crows walk along the thawed road. It’s good when the thaw is the harbinger of spring. But sometimes it’s just a belated memory of a warm autumn.
